Hi!

Most of our mentors are pretty busy with their students for GSoC 2017, 
so you'll find it a bit harder than usual to find help for the next few 
months.

But if you'd like to get a head start on open source contributions, most 
projects accept new contributors year round, just focus on fixing bugs 
and don't worry about the GSoC aspect of it right now.  Contributing to 
*any* open source project will help you when it comes time to start 
thinking about a GSoC application in February or so.
