I think I need to work through the bugs that you have submitted and
then I will do the Alpha release.  I'm making good progress on the
SyntaxError issues.  The throughput issue may have to wait until after
Alpha, it's more important to get more eyes.  Other critical/major
issues may turn up in Alpha requiring a second Alpha round before
Beta.

I've stopped introducing new features.  Chui Tey's breakpoint persistence
check-in has brought the debugger to a reasonable state of usefulness.

I believe we can wait for Tony's check-in before releasing the Alpha.

If there are no critical feature requests in first Alpha I'd suggest
freezing and going to bug fix, second Alpha, then Beta.

Guido, do you still want to do the Beta?
