[Idle-dev] Import _socket error

[Vines, John (Civ,ARL/CISD)]

	I have installed Python 2.3.2 on Irix64 and am trying to run the
"idle" but keep getting an error stating "no module named _socket".  I
believe I have my PYTHONPATH correct but am not sure.  Any help would be
appreciated, thanx
