Summary: .py extension

Initial Comment:
Not sure whether this should be a bug report or a feature
request, but it would be really nice if a file save would by
default supply the important .py extension. Without it,
colorizing doesn't work, which is confusing to people.
And of course there are other good reasons for wanting
the .py extension on Python files.

I think this should actually be a bug report, because three
file types are listed by default in the "Save as Type" box
on my Windows system (.py, .pyw, and .txt). This is
incorrect. These should be split into three different types
in the combo box and whatever type is listed in the box
should have that extension appended to the file by default.
This is a Windows standard, and so non-compliance is a bug.
