[Image-SIG] PIL fonts quetstion

I would like  to use international fonts (ISO-8859-2) with PIL. I have
converted appropriate pcf font, but when I want to use it with int.
characters, error occures. Without intl. characters, all seems to work
fine.
Do i need make some change to "metrics.dat"  file (there was no change
after font conversion) or what to do?
