    The Python Imaging Library (PIL) adds image processing capabilities
    to your Python interpreter. This library supports many file formats,
    and provides powerful image processing and graphics capabilities.

    Version 1.1.1 is a maintenance upgrade.  The changes include proper
    handling of TIFF files under Python 2.0, better plugin detection when
    using PIL as a package, and some bug fixes.
