[Image-SIG] Help with ImageMagick-Python

For the moment, I'm having to drop PIL due to a number of small, but
annoying problems. I'll quite happily pick it up again once those problems
are solved, but I need a imaging library very shortly.

I'm trying to get python talkingwith ImageMagick, but cant seem to get the
swig interface working properly. Eg: What is this 'Imaging.h' header?

Has anyone out there successfully employed python and ImageMagick? If so,
I'm more than happy to put the effort into getting a module running that
anyone can use. Perhaps even pick up maintaining Zack's project if he
doesn't want to do it himself.
