[Image-SIG] Reading GRIB files

Hi,

 

I am interested in reading GRIB files and extracting the fields within. 

I have the Python2.3 package and I don't think that GRIB is supported.

But from what I can understand, the GRIB file will only be indetified by
the OIL module and not actually read.

Is this true?
