[Image-SIG] problem installing PIL 1.1.7 on Python 2.7

Dear Madam/Sir,



I am using Python 2.7 and I am trying to install Python Imaging Library 1.1.7.

However, there is a problem and the installation stops with message:

" pil-1.1.7 win32-pu27.exe has stopped working "

How can I fix this problem?
