He has been programming in Python since 2000 and is one of the leading
developers and users in the domain of Python for scientific computing.
He won two FOSS India awards for his work on TVTK and Mayavi in 2008.
He is considered one of the pioneers in the domain of Python tools for
scientific computing as evidenced in the panel discussion at
SciPy2009.
