in the South tuesday is inauspicious. you do not do anything of consequence on 
a tuesday. So if you do not like waiting in a queue to register your vehicle 
or your marriage - do it on tuesday. All govt offices will be idle and at your 
disposal. I do all my official work on tuesdays.
