Thanks to the increased publicity, a lot of people have started
spreading the word resulting in people who will register in a day or
so. I've personally receieved a few emails like this. I'm sure more have
come to Anand and the others. 

This is not an official announcement as such but I think the pushed
closing date is to accomodate such requests.
