The question has a lot of merit. In India, the technical field
(IT, software development) is very much the area for people who
have done their graduation in Engineering or related (M.C.A/B.C.A)
degrees.

However this is not so in the west where the field attracts
people from multiple disciplines and aptitude is what that
counts.

Python being such an easy language to learn and develop in,
kind of levels the playing field and makes it easy for
anyone to code.

It would be good to discuss this in the education panel.
