I think it would be better to keep the plan as an open discussion
first on the mailing list and meetups, get a sense of how to organize
it and then get volunteers.

My suggestion stems from my doubt - Has there been any progress
regarding the discussion of  the schedule of the dev sprint? As in,
are we going to have it in parallel to the conference and workshop on
all the three days in a separate room? Or is it going to be on a
separate day, etc?
