Devsprint encourages coding participation and I don’t think it should be made optional.
Sometimes people who are a little doubtful also applies and drops by to check out what’s going on. Only to find it fun learning and contributing and thus getting started.
Making it optional, would mean to potentially lose out on these new comers. Essentially that’s why we have this conference. To allow everyone the opportunity to learn.
