I have posted a new release of my readline package at uncpythontools at 
SourceForge.

This fixes, I hope, the bug Thorsten and a few others noticed with slow 
typing. Also fixes, the bug with changing the console color to bright 
white; now it uses whatever the console is set for (I think).
