The official pyzmq repo is this one, mine is just a fork:

The code we want as a starter is in the completer branch.

No, users will have to install zmq separately.  Once this system
stabilizes, we'll probably make releases of pyzmq to ease things, but
it will be a dependency (just like twisted or nose).  It's a separate
project.
