I did a

  bzr clone lp:~fdo.perez/ipython/trunk-dev

on an ubuntu 9.10 box, and when I try a python setup.py build I get
the following failure::

msierig at pinchiepie:~/ipython$ python setup.py build
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "setup.py", line 32, in <module>
    from IPython.utils.genutils import target_update

Must be missing something obvious....
