You can see the instructions at the bottom of the pull request:

Basically to test it, you follow Step 1 and Step 2 (Step 3 is only for
those merging back into trunk the changes once ready).

And if you have any feedback on code, design, ideas, etc, please do
share it on the pull request page!  This is *fantastic* functionality
that James has implemented in just a few days of work, but obviously
it will benefit from review from others.  We want to make sure we all
give the overall design a good check before merging it in (though we
don't want to raise the bar so high that the code needs a year's worth
of fixes either, better now than never so we can improve it
incrementally).

So anyone with an interest or knowledge of this stuff, by all means pitch in!
