Min knows the details of this far better than I, so I'll let him reply
on the details.  I just wanted to let you know that we just completed
the twisted removal and parallel merge.  The new parallel code can be
imported as IPython.parallel.  So if you want to dive into it, now
it's in master and we'll just continue refining it there for 0.11
hopefully soon.
