Despite the fact that I'm one of those people who think that autocall
is actually a very nice feature, I think we had very convincing
arguments about this being often confusing to newcomers.  I've changed
the default to off now:

and just committed more doc updates where autocall was mentioned to
reflect this.

Thomas, if you'd like the autocall-safe mode as well, it can certainly
be added, so feel free to put up a PR for that.

But it seems to me that Min, Thomas and I are better off simply
configuring this the way we want it in our personal profiles, so that
the new user experience leads to less surprises (and so we have less
of the weird bugs that do pop up every now and then due to this).

Thanks to everyone for the detailed feedback.  It may seem a bit silly
to obsess so much over such a small point, but I'm glad you guys care
enough to discuss it :)
