Hi everyone,

we're getting close to having the code in a state we can release
IPython 0.12, so at this point we'd greatly appreciate it if the more
adventurous amongst you could take it for a spin.

You're always welcome to run from git master (we do our best to keep
master always in fully working condition) and github also offers
tar/zip downloads of master at any time from:

https://github.com/ipython/ipython/tarball/master
https://github.com/ipython/ipython/zipball/master

But we've also put here for your convenience an egg, a windows binary
installer, and tar/zip downloads with the compiled documentation, in
case you prefer to have it for local use:

http://archive.ipython.org/testing/0.12.beta/

Please report any problems you encounter, of any kind, as we'd like to
make 0.12 as solid a release as possible.

Assuming nothing major turns up, we hope to put out a release
candidate in a week or two with whatever small problems get reported
fixed, and a few pull requests and issues we're still working on. At
that point, the final 0.12 should follow in short order.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide us!

Best,

f
