Thanks for your words, Fernando. .
I just throw this idea into the list because I wanted a "non-editable 
view" of the notebook for my IPython plugin, and into the plugin, the 
solution was easy implemented like I described before (doing by static 
html is a bigger project that the plugin itself, jeje!). However, I 
understand that the idea I proposed is not suitable for the IPython 
project and his needs.
But, with the discussion, always some new things arises, such as the 
repo you pointed us before (I read the first version of nbconvert from 
gist, but I did not have enough time yet to discover it into this repo, 
so thanks!
I hope I can contribute into this and/or other areas of IPython.
