[IPython-dev] Simple kernel not working on a venv

Hi all,

I am following the recipe found here:
http://nbviewer.ipython.org/github/ipython-books/cookbook-code/blob/master/notebooks/chapter01_basic/06_kernel.ipynb
to create a custom and simple kernel.

The kernel is working if I don't use a venv but inside a venv the notebook
is 'busy' and I can't run code. It seems that the qtconsole is working fine
with and without the venv.

My tests are made on linux mint 64bit, chrome v38 and firefox v32.
