[IPython-dev] Google Summer of Code and NumFOCUS

Hi Rainiere,

right now we don't have the necessary bandwidth, nor the kind of
appropirate GSoC project breakdown, to successfully meet the
responsibilities of a good GSoC mentor.  Therefore IPython will not be
applying this year for GSoC participation.
