[IPython-dev] Checkpoints & empty directories

Hi Tony,

What version of the notebook are you running, and is there anything special
about the folder where you're saving  (e.g. is it a network drive, or
synced with something like Dropbox)? That sounds like an issue with the
atomic saving.
