PythonEngine has been replaced w/ the DLR hosting APIs.  You'll want to do something more like:

ScriptRuntime sr = ScriptRuntime.Create();
sr.Globals["x"] = _x;

ScriptEngine se = sr.GetEngine("py");

There is a spec available for the hosting APIs at http://compilerlab.members.winisp.net/dlr-spec-hosting.pdf
