ISSUES

1. [New issue] Rhino - IronPython - add Leap Motion
http://ironpython.codeplex.com/workitem/35132
User Mjnewsum has proposed the issue:

"Hello,

I have been an IronPython used for a while now, but this is the first time that I am trying to add a module. I have tried to get help from leap motion, but no one seems to provide a solution.

I just need to know how I add a module that can be imported into Rhino's IronPython script editor. I must sound crazy.

Here is the post to Leap:

All,

I know this issue has been brought up before, (once by myself even about a year ago) but I have not seen a solution unfortunately. The post that included this problem from before took many turns and this issues was not really resolved as far as I can tell.

Setup:
Sample.py file in C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython
Leap.dll file in C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython
Leap.py file in C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython\Lib
LeapPython.pyd file in C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython\Lib

Leap.dll and LeapPython.pyd files are from the 64-bit folder:
LeapDeveloperKit_release_win_1.0.9+8391\LeapDeveloperKit\LeapSDK\lib\x64

When I open the Sample.py file in rhino 5.0's python script editor and run, I receive this error:

Message: No module named LeapPython

Traceback:
line 18, in swig_import_helper, "C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython\Lib\Leap.py"
line 26, in , "C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\IronPython\Lib\Leap.py"
line 9, in , "C:\Users\jake_newsum\AppData\Local\Temp\TempScript.py"

Any advise towards a solution would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more information from my end, please let me know. I am just trying to get up and running. I gave up when I had no response in the past, but I would like to get this running so my Leap stops collecting dust.

Kind Regards,
Jake"-----------------

User Mjnewsum has commented on the issue:

"<p>Thank you paweljasinski,</p><p>I am letting Leap know to see if there is a way that the LeapPython.pyd can be formatted in a better way for IronPython. If you have any recommendations, I am open to them. As I stated before, this is relatively new territory for me.</p><p>Kind Regards,<br>Jake</p>"
