2. [New issue] socket.create_connection() causes exception "getaddrinfo returns an empty list"

User tcalmant has proposed the issue:

"An exception is raised any time I use the method socket.create_connection(...), or call something that uses it (like the base HTTP server).
This beheviour is really strange as a direct call to getaddrinfo() works correctly.


IPython version:
IronPython 2.7.4 (2.7.0.40) on .NET 4.0.30319.34014 (32-bit)


OS:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bits
