Initial Comment:
yadis is a framework which privides access to other
services like openid, lid, inames...
( these do similar-things like microsoft passport - but
are "nicer" ( open-source, can have my own servern ... ) )
having e.g. a common open-id account would help to keep
the number of site-username/passwords lower.
