There is no longer a cvs repository for Mailman. You can find the
subversion repository for the 2.1.7 release at
<http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mailman/tags/Release_2_1_7/>.

For subversion client access, see
<http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=1> documents E09 and F06 or
F07.

As far as any differences between 2.1.7 and 2.1.7-1.2 are concerned,
you'll have to talk to whoever made your 2.1.7-1.2 package.
