Have you seen the FAQ at <http://wiki.list.org/x/aYA9>?

That FAQ mentions the email 'who' command which can be used to obtain
the names and addresses of members in a format suitable for mass
subscribe. It also mentions the script at <http://www.msapiro.net
/mailman-subscribers.py> which already exists to do the screen scraping
and which can retrieve most of the user options (everything in the admin
Membership List page except language).
