This is a known bug, and it will be fixed in the next release.  (I say
this with confidence, though i haven't gotten time to investigate it yet
- i actually plan to do so in the next couple of days.)  I'll try to
package a 1.0b4 fix, in addition to the doing the work on our internal
development copy.
