I've also reported the same problems.
After much woe, I am back at beta6, which seems to have fixed
my web interface problems and does not present the confirmation issue.

I would love to help, but at this point I have over 2000 pissed off
users, and I can't risk another upgrade to test.  I may do so in the
future, but only if I have a solid way of backing out.

I am also strongly considering a return to majordomo.
