Sure, I understand.

How many people do you expect to be using the command line interface
for Mailman?

I know it's easy to change those files, but what I don't want to do is
lose the CVS history of the files.  If CVS had a "move" or "copy"
command, we'd be fine.  If I could hack directly on the repository
myself, we'd be fine.  Otherwise, it's just too much of a hassle (and
too fragile) to preserve the history of the files /and/ try to
instruct the SF admins on the necessary repository surgery.
    
Also, from what I understand, now that Python's licensing problems are
all cleared up, Debian plans to make Python 2.1.1 the default.
