CC'ed to -developers to note that pipermail's threading seems either
broken/fragile, and to note that the mbox archives for the -users
list are borked (early apparency is that Pipermail is excessively
restrictive on In-Reply-To header field formats).

Which is then a problem with your mail setup, and is not specific to
either the mail I send, or the mailman lists at Python.Org. Quoting

No.

No. This would appear to be another Pipermail bug. As you can see

my messages thread properly under MHonArc (a tool I know handles
thread headers properly).
