[Mailman-Developers] moving list archives

Hello,

I'm moving lists to a different server and would like to zip up their 
archives and unzip them on the new server. Is this possible without 
creating problems? I am concerned about making the lists inaccessible if I 
do this. Since I have created new lists that were not on the old server, it 
is not possible to zip up the directory and move that in total. Any 
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
