Initial Comment:
Mailman 2.0 on RH 7.1 -- After converting a public 
archive to private and rebuilding with bin/arch, the 
web pages pointing to the private archive have an 
extra slash in them (after /private/).

E.g.: 
http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/private//myli
st/

I haven't tried to reproduce this yet.

I've added a line of comment to the Defaults.py.in file for
MM 2.0.13.

The value for PRIVATE_ARCHIVE_URL  was the problem... 
but I don't think this bug should be closed until the file 
is modified to include a comment to that effect, or the 
code modified to allow a trailing slash.

Check the value for PRIVATE_ARCHIVE_URL  in your mm_cfg.py
file.  I'll be it ends in a slash.  It shouldn't.
