Okay, i have:
# python2 -V
Python 2.1.1
On an RH 7.2

(nice, Mailman 2.1.1 and Python 2.1.1 :) )

Well, the mesages arnt comming back :) they just go way now :) without
subjectline.

Lets update to latest python. i hope i can replace it without any
problems...
