It seemed to work as the author expected, using Safari 2.x under MacOS X
10.4.x. Using Blazer on my Palm Treo 650, although I enabled everything
(especially including JavaScript), the supposedly draggable items were
instead rendered as plain text.
This is the key problem with something like JavaScript. It advertises
that it works, your web application can see that JavaScript is enabled,
you test it with your preferred browser(s) and everything seems okay, and
you release the code.
Only problem is, when it's put out there in the real world you discover
that it has "interesting" failure modes with other browsers that you
didn't test with.
