	My understanding is that Berkeley db doesn't work at all on NFS, 
because it uses mmap to handle access to the database files, and mmap 
on NFS is an undefined operation.  This is the same problem that 
people wanting to use Cyrus on NFS face, for the same reason -- 
Berkely db on NFS doesn't work.
