Just a quick update on the conversion to Mercurial.

There are a couple of things you can do right now to play with hg.
I have temporarily made two branches available. See
http://c64.knis.dk:8000/

To check out the Release_2_1-maint branch, do the following:

cd someplace
mkdir hg-Release_2_1-maint
cd hg-Release_2_1-maint
hg init .
hg pull http://c64.knis.dk:8000/Release_2_1-maint-conv-1/
hg up

Or alternatively:

hg clone http://c64.knis.dk:8000/trunk-conv-1/ hg-trunk

The conversions has been done from a dead copy of the svn depot; upstream changes will not be mirrored.

The conversions has been made with hgsvn, which gives some of the same functionality as bzr-svn.

Please play with these repositories and let us know what you think. If/when there is enough interest the branches can be set up to be more convenient.

/Mads - who thinks that hg and bzr are so different that hg should have an announcement too, but so similar that they should have similar announcements ;-)
