Unfortunately you ran into an error that just got fixed yesterday.
Updating your postorius branch should fix that (bzr pull).

If you're especially interested in using Mailman3's REST API, I'd also
recommend taking a closer look at the Python bindings (mailman.client
on launchpad - docs are in the repo's src/mailmanclient/docs
directory). It's a Python wrapper which makes accessing the REST API
pretty easy.
