Mailman honors this in that messages with either an

X-No-Archive:

or an

X-Archive: No

header (case insensitive) will not be archived. Also, Monthly and on
demand password reminders and list welcome messages are sent with an

X-No-Archive: Yes

header.

I think the X-No-Archive header usage is fairly standard.
