What's the phase of the moon today?  It seems to have fixed my
problems.

Might have been the reboot, too.  Dunno.

Anyhow, without any patches, it seems to be working fine now.

I'm updating to the latest CVS snapshot anyhow, just to test
everything again.

Thanks for the help. I hate it when things just start working again
for no reason...
