I'm using the minor-minor rev number when there are milestones in the
CVS snapshot.  Because my life's not exciting enough, I usually run
the latest snapshot on python.org :)  My intent is that releases will
always be numbered x.y and betas for x.y+1 will be numbered x.y.z.
