Correct.

You need the Exchange Server to send mail to dp-request at digitalpersona.com
on to the Linux box ( dp-request at digitalpersona.com ->
dp-request at linuxbox.digitalpersona.com)

On the Linux box there must be the correct aliases set-up for the list dp
