[Mailman-Users] Symbolic link not working

OK, I found the symbolic link note in the troubleshooting section, 
and created the link for /etc/smrsh.
Here is the link that was created in /etc/smrsh:

lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           21 Nov  2 15:43 wrapper -> 
/home/mailman/wrapper

But still get:

    ----- Transcript of session follows -----
sh: wrapper not available for sendmail programs
554 "|/etc/smrsh/wrapper mailowner metamembers"... Service unavailable

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
