For some reason today a particular list started sending out hundreds and
hundreds of copies of its digest. It WOULDN'T stop. I had to stop sendmail,
and I still have it stopped, which is a bad thing. Investigating the digest
doesn't show anything.

In the digest log file I have a bunch:

Oct 19 13:53:09 2000 (19737) next imc-prague digest: #620, post#1
Oct 19 13:53:15 2000 (19737) imc-prague v 620 - 4 msgs, 26 recips (23 mime,
0 text, 3 disabled)
Oct 19 13:53:15 2000 (19737) next imc-prague digest: #621, post#1
Oct 19 13:55:31 2000 (19742) imc-prague v 621 - 4 msgs, 26 recips (23 mime,
0 text, 3 disabled)
Oct 19 13:55:31 2000 (19742) next imc-prague digest: #622, post#1
Oct 19 13:59:46 2000 (19742) imc-prague v 622 - 4 msgs, 26 recips (23 mime,
0 text, 3 disabled)
Oct 19 13:59:47 2000 (19742) next imc-prague digest: #623, post#1
Oct 19 15:07:25 2000 (23523) imc-nyc-process v 94 - 15 msgs, 3 recips (0
mime, 3 text, 0 disabled)

in the error log file I am getting a lot of:

Oct 19 19:41:01 2000 (7766) Delivery exception: read-only character buffer,
None
Oct 19 19:41:01 2000 (7766) Traceback (innermost last):

My fromusenet log has stuff in it that I wish it would stop logging since I
am not gateing:
Oct 19 19:55:02 2000 (8151) end gating
Oct 19 20:00:02 2000 (8218) begin gating
Oct 19 20:00:04 2000 (8218) end gating

my smtp-failure has a lot of:
Oct 19 19:41:19 2000 (7766) -1 f2592827 at est.ct.upc.es (ignore)
Oct 19 19:41:19 2000 (7766) -1 jan.hagelberg at kolumbus.fi (ignore)
Oct 19 19:41:19 2000 (7766) -1 weathermark at hotmail.com (ignore)
Oct 19 19:41:19 2000 (7766) -1 thatchercollins at yahoo.com (ignore)
Oct 19 19:41:19 2000 (7766) -1 ndj at cyberjedi.org.uk (ignore)

and my maillog file for sendmail looks normal (it keeps sending those
digests out)...

HelP!

Micah
