[Mailman-Users] Changes not sticking

I'm fairly new to mailing lists in general, and Mailman in particular. I'm trying to help someone administer a new list. I can make changes to the member list without any problems, but the person who's supposed to be the list administrator can't seem to. She makes changes (eg. removes someone from the list), submits them, and nothing seems to have happened.
Anybody have any ideas?
